1. Prevent stretching

Avoid wearing the same garment too frequently. Allow the garment to rest for two or three days after a day’s wear.

2. Keep away from sharp objects

To ensure the longevity of your garment, do not wear it too frequently. Allow the garment to rest for two or three days after each day’s wear. Wearing a scarf between your cashmere top/cardigan and your neck can also help prevent powder or other cosmetic stains.

3. WASH GENTLY

Hand wash in lukewarm water using a specially formulated laundry liquid. Be sure to dissolve the liquid thoroughly before placing the garment into the water. If you don’t have any on hand, a good hair shampoo will do the trick. because wool and cashmere are types of hair. Wash colored garments separately and do not use bleach.

4. Use a washing bag

While we cannot officially “recommend” machine washing, pure cashmere does wash well in most modern front-loading machines that have delicate cycles. Set the temperature no higher than 30 degrees Celsius, and always remember to put your delicate garments in a mesh bag. Note that handwashing helps extend the durability of pure cashmere garments.

5. PROPER WAY OF DRYING

Squeeze gently; do not twist or wring, as twisting can stretch the shape of your garment. After removing excess water, dry the garment flat on a clean towel, re-creating its natural shape. Keep it away from direct heat and sunlight while drying.

6. IF IRONING…

When it comes to cashmere and wool, a steamer is a perfect choice. If you don’t have one, you can iron the garment from the inside out using a damp cloth. But keep in mind to set the temperature no higher than 40 degrees Celsius.

7. WHEN TO DRY CLEAN

Dry cleaning is the best way to deal with stains that hand washing cannot remove. It is also recommended if the cashmere is woven or has details such as leather buttons, which could be damaged by water. Additionally, some designs with loose knit structures are safer to be dry cleaned as hand washing can disturb the knit pattern.

8. DE-PILLING TINY BOBBLES

Friction causes tiny balls of fluff to form on cashmere garments, which is quite normal and does not necessarily indicate poor quality. In fact, it is proof that it was made of natural yarn.

We recommend de-pilling a sweater before washing using our cashmere comb. Glide it gently over the affected area in one direction. Once they are all removed, wash it as instructed. After a few combings and washes, the pills will disappear.

9. ALWAYS FOLD, NEVER HANG!

Before storing your precious cashmere and wool garments in the basement or attic, check carefully for leaks, dampness, and sunlight. Remember that folding is always better than hanging when it comes to knitwear. Pack your clothes neatly in tissue paper or cotton storage bags and store them in a closet away from light, dust, and dampness.

10. ANTI MOTH RULE

There are plenty of products and tricks to prevent moths, while the simplest way is laundering before long-term storage. The most effective and simple way is washing your clothes before packing them.

You might think, “I only wore it once, so it’s almost clean,” but it’s not. Your body oil, residual perfume, and other body products are what bugs consider food. Thus, storing your precious clothes without giving them a wash is like leaving a store of food for the moths.

With these tips, you can be sure that your favorite sweater will last a lifetime and keep you warm for years to come.

Determining your skin tone requires expanding your understanding of color. Not only our skin, but in general all colors have their own undertones and are generally classified as warm and cold. Determining undertones is not the same as determining skin tone, but learning the difference will make it easier to choose the right clothes and accessories for you. The simplest way to determine the radiance of any color is to compare 2 colors of the same mass. For example:

There are 2 different red colors in the picture, both have the same mass color but different luminosity. The top red looks like orange and the other looks like purple. 1st color is defined as warm and 2nd color is defined as cold. See how it is distributed in the picture below.

When it comes to clothing, makeup, and hair color, the best color you can choose is one that has the same glow as yours. If your skin has a warm undertone, you will look better if you paint your face in warm colors and wear the opposite when choosing clothes.

NEUTRAL UNDERTONE What color clothes to choose?

If your color is neutral, then any outfit with warm or cool undertones will suit you. Good luck!

Neutral Shades: Neutral colors such as black, white, grey, beige and navy go well with everything and work well with neutral shades. These colors serve as the basis of clothing. Here are the colors that make you look good:

Natural tones: Earthy tones like olive green, beige, and camel brown add warmth to your neutral skin tone. Wearing these colors looks natural and balanced.

Your Stone: Gemstone colors such as emerald green, sapphire blue, pink, and ruby red are best for skin with a neutral glow. Such rich colors will add energy to your outfit.

Pastels: Soft colors like soft pinks, mint greens, and baby blues will complement your neutral tones and give your look a delicate and feminine look.

Accessories: Both warm and cool metals with a neutral sheen. You’ll have access to all kinds of jewelry in gold, silver, rose gold, and bronze, so you can choose the accessories you want to add glitz and sophistication to your outfit.

What color clothes will COOL UNDERTONE choose?

If your skin has a cool undertone, you have a variety of colors to complement your complexion.

Colors: Choose colors with cool undertones like blue, purple, pink, and green. Warm colors such as orange, yellow, and brown are not suitable for your skin, so it is recommended to avoid them.

Neutral colors: Cool colors can be coordinated with neutral colors. Instead of warm colors like beige and camel, choose cooler versions of neutrals like gray, navy or charcoal.

Jewelry: Silver or white gold jewelry accentuates the cool tone. These will enhance the cool glow of your skin and give you a very flattering look. Avoid gold jewelry as it will clash with your tone.

Dress Up: Choose cool colors like ice blue, soft gray, or cool pastels. These colors will highlight your tone and give you a fresh and cool atmosphere.

Makeup: When it comes to makeup, choose cool shades. For foundation and concealer, choose products with a pink or neutral undertone. When it comes to eyeshadow and lipstick, choose blue, purple, pink, and berry colors.

WARM UNDERTONE What color clothes to choose?

If your skin has a warm undertone, choosing the right color of clothing can highlight your natural color and make you look even more colorful.

Earthy colors: Choose warm, earthy colors like brown, camel brown, olive green, mustard yellow, and burnt orange. These colors reflect the warmth of your skin tone.

Warm neutrals: Choose warm neutral colors such as beige and cream. These colors provide a soft base to enhance your skin tone.

Gemstones: Choose deep gemstones with warm tones such as maroon, emerald green, and warm purple. These colors help to give your overall look a vibrant look.

Accessories : Choose warm metals like gold and rose gold. These colors have a warmer undertone than the colder silver.

Patterns: Patterns and shapes with warm colors or earth tones will suit you. For example, clothing and accessories with warm-colored flowers or animal prints and pictures on a warm-colored background would be a great choice.

Avoid Cool Colors: Try to avoid cool colors like ice blue, cool gray and silver. These colors tend to highlight details that are not good for people with warm skin tones.

Finally, the above advice is a general rule of thumb and is different for everyone, so it’s best to take into account the personality of the individual. A color expert will help you find the perfect shade and shade for you, while you experiment with different shades, see how they match your skin tone, and find the perfect combination for you.

On this blog, I will give you a little advice on how to correctly determine your skin color.

First of all, before deciding whether red, green or blue clothes will suit you, it is right to determine what color and undertone group you belong to. Knowing your skin tone will make it easier to know what colors of clothing, makeup, and jewelry will make you look more confident and healthy.

It is easy to tell whether a person is yellow-skinned, brown-skinned or white-skinned just by looking at each other. Most of our Mongolians have white, yellow and brown skin, and some of them are even “blackened” due to extreme weather conditions. So, the color of a person’s skin is not determined only by the color of the skin that is visible to the eye.

The fashion industry and personal stylists who correctly determine the undertone of a person’s skin and recommend the right color for the person have a great place in the fashion industry.

So what is Undertone? Undertone is the natural color under the surface of the skin. The skin tone represents your skin tone, while the undertone represents the shade within that color. There are three types of undertones: warm, cool, and neutral. People with the same skin tone can have very different colors.

How to determine skin color?

The most popular way to determine undertone is the color of the veins. You can determine your natural skin color just by going to a well-lit area and looking at the veins on the inside of your forearm.

If your veins look blue or purple, you have cool-toned skin, and if your veins are green or olive-colored, you have warm-toned skin.

Identifying a person with cold skin:

  • The skin is pale yellow, gray or pale porcelain
  • Eye color is usually blue or gray-blue
  • Hair with an ashy shade, without a warm color, without a mixture of reddish and reddish colors, or, on the contrary, with a dark, cold brown-brown color

Identifying a person with warm-toned skin:

  • The skin is peach or golden yellow, often with freckles
  • Eye color is golden or deep green or brown
  • The hair has a shade of wheat, honey, reddish or reddish brown

People with medium or neutral skin tones often have blue-green colored veins. People with this type of skin color are as lucky as winning the lottery. Because they see many colors better than others.

Determining a person with medium-toned skin:

  • Asians with pale skin are common
  • Eye color is brown
  • Hair is often brown or black

Test Method 2:

You will need a white sheet. Цагаан цаасыг нүүрэндээ авчир. If against the background of a white page your skin looks pink, bluish or pale pink, you belong to cold colors. If the skin is yellow, brown, golden, or peachy, you can classify yourself as warm.

In my next blog, I’ll talk about what colors make you look better. If you want more information why not look it up on the internet….
